Honored to Co-Author Book with Joel Comm

So, What Do You Do? is New York Times bestselling author Joel Comm‘s latest book, and I am honored to have collaborated with Joel in his fascinating study of uncovering the genius next door “with one simple question: “So what do you do?” It’s often the first thing we ask someone when we meet them, and Joel believes that if we really pay attention to the answer, it’s a rich tapestry of diversity and  brilliance in unexpected places.

Can you imagine how I felt when Joel asked me to contribute a chapter? I had met Lori Ruff, who calls herself the “LinkedIn Diva” at the AuthorU Conference last May in Denver, and after hearing about my book, Raise the Child You’ve Got—Not the One You Want, she had a feeling Joel would want to include a chapter by me in his book.  After I described my new model of parenting, Leading with Acceptance to, Joel, he invited me to join his project. OK, so now I’m authoring or co-authoring TWO books? Sometimes I wonder who I’m looking at in the bathroom mirror! Well, don’t we all?

So, for more on leading with acceptance, PLUS the inspiring work of 45 others, check out So, What Do You Do?
